📌 Sekinchan is a small town located in the northern part of the Selangor state in Malaysia, about one and a half to two hours' drive from Kuala Lumpur. If you travel north from the main road, you'll see vast rice fields on your right and a bustling fishing village and estuary on your left. It is known as the "Land of Paddy and Fisheries" due to the fertile rice fields on one side and a thriving fishing port on the other. Sekinchan is also known as "Hong Mao Gang," and was historically known as "Shigangqing".

The Hong Kong drama "Outbound Love" and the Taiwanese variety show "Kangxi Big Brother" both filmed scenes in Sekinchan.

📌 The firefly spectacle in Kuala Selangor enjoys worldwide acclaim. The fireflies here belong to the species Pteroptyx tener, renowned for their unique phenomenon of synchronous flashing. Although there are many firefly viewing sites around the globe, the firefly landscape in Kuala Selangor is often regarded as 【one of the world's premier firefly watching destinations】 due to its scale, density, and the overall viewing experience.
